Maruti Celerio is a petrol hatchback, which was recently unveiled by the company at a launch event in New Delhi. The car is powered by a 998cc engine, which develops maximum power of 67 BHP at 6000 rpm and 90 NM at 3500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission and there is also an option of automated manual transmission, which is one of the most fuel efficient and comfortable gearboxes in India. Maruti Celerio is available in six variants and seven attractive shades to choose from. The main rival of this car is Hyundai Grand i10, which is also available in diesel and option of 4-speed automatic gearbox.
