Why It Is a Good Idea to Use Commercials in Elevators

It probably won’t take long to think of a commercial that took place in a elevator. Looking at it from the other side, just like public transport elevators could be a good place to place your commercial. Although there are several things to keep in mind before you do that.

Location and target audience

Do your homework! Location is a key point here. Small restaurants and takeouts can really benefit from ads in elevators, places around the neighborhood, with a few best items on the menu and phone number for delivery or reservations.

Update

Make sure you put a new commercial poster at least once a month; be prepared for that financially – think of people who might see it daily – if you don’t change it, they will either get tires seeing the same thing every time, or will simply stop noticing it. What you could also do, in case your budget is tight, print different versions from the very beginning, and then rotate them every month. That will work out nicely provided posters remain in a good shape.

Extra benefit

A little effort can go a long way. Think of the extra benefits that people who use elevator daily will get from your commercial. E.g., provide more or better lighting; think of not necessary but nice and noticeable renovations (new buttons, mirror, etc.); add a smile – if your poster is not neutral people are more likely to remember it.Commercials in Elevators
