Scrapbooking is a classic pastime for children – perfectly pairing learning with creativity. Trunki is encouraging parents to take their kids to the nearest nature area (whether that be the forest, the beach, the hills or the local park) and collect some natural mementos to create a nature scrapbook.

Simply select a few fallen leaves, some twigs, a handful of seaweed or some stones to create a page-by-page scrapbook documenting your day spent out in nature. Then head home, get out your scissors, glue and pens to get to work!

Whilst lockdown is still in place and there’s less things we can do with our children, it’s a great time to get back to basics with some arts and crafts. Make the most of your local natural area and keep your kids educated and entertained by making your own nature scrapbook – check out our infographic or a step-by-step guide.
