Replacing Glasses with Replacement Lenses

Over 143 million U.S adults wear prescription eyewear, most of these people using a typical pair of glasses. This is something that is going to cost the consumer around $200 every fear years to replace, but luckily, it doesn’t have to be that way.

Instead, there is now the option of replacement lenses. Replacement lenses allow a consumer to avoid buying a new pair of frames and to simply replace the lenses inside for an updated prescription, wear, or whatever other reason that may arise.

This allows the consumer to keep an old favorite pair of frames, it keeps the price low, and it even gives more freedom in turning any pair of frames into actual prescription glasses. There are countless options to be added onto the lenses as well, things like a tint, lens coating, and a sunglass transition.

Although these extra options will bump up the price, it just goes to show the freedom that is still possessed even without getting a new pair of frames. For anyone looking to replace their glasses completely, it may be worth it to look at replacing their lenses instead.
