In this new infographic from loveit coverit, they explore the things that people don’t want us to know about their smartphone use. Based on independent survey results from 2,000 UK respondents, this looks at how many people are taking and keeping intimate photos of themselves or others, and how these are being shared – sometimes illegally! The infographic also explores people’s attitudes toward thing like revenge porn, such as whether they’ve been a victim of it, whether they’ve done it, and whether they are deterred by new legislation that makes it illegal.
The survey also looked at whether respondents were hiding information from their current partners, and whether people would track their partner’s mobile devices if they were given the opportunity. Overall, this gives us a more holistic look at how people are using smartphone technology within relationships, and goes some way to exploring how smartphones are changing the way we interact with each other.
