Coffee is one of the world’s most beloved beverages, and it has quite a long history. Over centuries, coffee has spread throughout different parts of the world starting in Ethiopia. It was discovered by a shepherd who observed his goats eating berries from a wild bush and noticed that they became very energetic afterward.
Eventually, coffee was prepared in many different ways for consumption and began to be used extensively for religious ceremonies, celebrations, and health purposes. By the 1600s, coffee had become so popular it was even being referred to as “the wine of Islam.” Even today, coffee continues to captivate our taste buds and provide us with delicious flavor!
